In the end of our 8th-grade year, Tyler moved to town and started at Jack Hille Middle School. Having played football in the park district for years, he already knew a lot of the boys. Taylor, however, hadn't met him yet, only seeing him in the halls occasionally.

During a class trip at the end of the year, Taylor decided to make her move. She had a friend tell him, "Taylor likes you."

A few days later, Tyler approached her after class and asked, "I like you, you like me, wanna go out?"

The rest, as they say, is history.
